Good Tunes From the Week of November 28, 2006

im not the biggest rap fan in the world, but this week that's all that happened to be any damn good. i was let down by the new Thom Yorke EP and i didn't even get my hopes up for anything else. The Blue Carpet Treatment by Snoop Dogg was a bit of a let down as well, even though it holds within it the baddest fucking tune ever, "Vato". and here's the video for it:

and finally, the only totally kick-ass album of the week was put out by Jay-Z. it's called Kingdom Come. great album from start to finish(we'll just pretend we didn't notice that fucking Beyonce track on there). so yeah, i'll post some of my favorites on here, including my favorite one entitled "Beach Chair", featuring and produced by Chris Martin of Coldplay.

Here's a tune by Willie Nelson with Ryan Adams and The Cardinals that came out on Halloween. i missed it then and i just now heard it. it's the only good song off of the album Songbird. i don't really know why i like this song, it's kinda gay. but it's catchy as hell. i'll just say i like this one for my wife, and put the blame all on her. check it.

Here I Am, In All My Glory

HEE HEE HEE, i've tried the blog thing before on myspace. i had a nifty little music blog where i reviewed all the newest records. it was a weekly thing and it was very time consuming. but i enjoyed it... but unfortunately for me, no one else did. at least they didn't post comments about it, which is what i wanted to happen. the whole point of the thing was to start discussions, debates, or just people telling me how cool i was. that only happened once and he sent me a private message to do it. i want everyone to know that shit man. it may have been partly my fault though, i didn't leave alot of room for rebuttal, and if anyone dared to disagree with me, i would have promptly dealt with them. i have a problem... i think i'm always right, and that's mostly because i am. nah, im not so egotistical as this blog may suggest, it's just easier to be a smart ass with a keyboard than with actual people. yeah, you guys are actual people, but you can't get near me... so i can say what i want without fear of retribution. HAHA, the internet... breeding a world full of pussies. and im numero uno. well shit, i don't know where this brand new, sleek and sexy, and hip to the nth power super-blog will lead, i doubt i'll do the music reviews again. but i may post some pointers towards some good shit, who knows. we'll see. maybe i'll never even use this thing again. bye, leave me comments and tell me you need me.
